Cards for the Community , a fundraiser for Historic Plant City Main Street, isn’t just a poker tournament—it’s a night where luck meets legacy, where every chip played is a step toward revitalization, and every bet placed supports the future of our community.
TOURNAMENT RULES:
Tournament Start: 6:30 PM
Tournament Ends:10:30 PM
First 45 minutes: Unlimited $200 rebuys available.
💰$25 bounty on every player—collect bounty chips and turn them in for a reward!

With the energy of 23 poker tables, the thrill of celebrity bounty prizes, and the excitement of a the prizes on the line, this event is more than just a game—it’s a movement. Player Ticket ($275): Includes tournament entry, first drink, food grazing table, photo opportunity, and silent auction access.
Spectator Ticket ($50): Includes food grazing table and first drink. (Limited to 48 tickets!)

The Main Street Organization Team plays a key role in keeping the board, committees, staff, and program-of-work in good shape by attracting people and money to the organization.
To succeed, this team must take responsibility for managing the financial and logistical aspects of the nonprofit organization.
The job of the Promotion Team is to PROMOTE downtown as the center of commerce, culture, and community life for residents and visitors alike. To be effective, this element must move beyond the typical “tried-and-true” downtown promotion ideas of yesteryear. Promotions leveraged in a broader sense with new strategies.
The Economic Vitality Team works with key partners within the City and State to analyze current market forces to develop long-term solutions. They are responsible for recruiting new businesses, creatively converting unused space for new uses, and sharpening the competitiveness of Main Street's traditional merchants and business owners.
The Design Team plays a key role in shaping the physical image of Downtown Plant City as an attractive place for shoppers, investors, business owners, and visitors. To succeed, this team must persuade fiercely independent business and property owners and civic leaders to adopt a specific approach, and an ambitious agenda, for physical improvements to buildings, businesses and public improvement.
